Wilmington, NC band writes new CD inspired by life on the NC coast

California native and acoustic surf rock favorites, Bag of Toys, are proud to announce the release of their third full-length studio album, "Access 10" on June 21, 2011. With this release, they've trimmed the fat and boiled down this album to ten tight tracks stuffed full of upbeat rhythms, head-bobbing grooves and fun backyard party anthems. They've also had the distinction to have "Access 10" mixed by L.A. native Todd Burke (Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, No Doubt) and mastered by San Francisco's own John Cuniberti (Dave Matthews, The Greateful Dead, Aerosmith). While maintaining their original acoustic vibe that has mad Bag of Toys on of the top unsigned acoustic acts, you will find a few new surprises including a couple songs that feature the ukulele, more electric guitar and a crap load of fun.

Bag of Toys has amassed more than 1.2 million streaming song plays online and has had their original music licensed for use on a national Microsoft commercial, an episode of "Bones" on the Fox network, two Universal Pictures movies as well as numerous surfing DVDs and internet videos.

The band has sold more than 15,000 copies of their albums across the globe and has delighted fans with hundreds of successful live shows throughout the western and southeastern United States. They have also had the distinction to share the stage with bands like Fishbone, Pato Banton & Sean Kingston (to name a few).
