"Hurt So Bad" written by Teddy Randazzo, Bobby Weinstein, and Bobby Hart was recorded by Little Anthony & The Imperials in 1964 for their album, Goin' out of My Head on the DCP record label. Released as a single, it entered the Billboard Hot Top 100 chart on January 31st, 1965, peaking at #10 on March 7th and also reached #3 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart. It can be found on the Best of Little Anthony & the Imperials CD on Rhino. The group members were "Little Anthony" Gourdine - Lead Vocals, Sammy Strain - First Tenor, Ernest Wright - Second Tenor, and Clarence Collins - Baritone/Bass.
