Baby Bonk leads jazz beyond the postmodern, and back to the starting blocks of Dadaism. Everything is allowed as long as it is amusing. With the pleasure of a thief, the band breaks all of the rules of good taste. Brilliant playing and years of experience with countless ensembles in Germany and elsewhere, allows the musicians a recklessness, whose exuberance seeks it´s match. Urban burlesques, rude political commentaries, modest improprieties, forbidden guitar solos, glamour, improvised madness, and the simple-minded afterwork flair of a men´s glee club- all of this comes together in a celebration of the senses.
