This one goes out to my friend Rob Keeley, whom I believe enjoys this brooding stuff that I pen occasionally. And to Ibanez Japan, who are without a doubt the most gracious and understanding company I have dealt with in some time.

The guitar is an RG852 Prestige, one of the most comfortable and most inspiring guitars I have ever played. I will never sell it; it is a permanent part of my collection.

The sound you’re hearing was generated by an Axe-FX II XL+ running Quantum V4 Firmware. Basically, it’s a 5F1 Tweed Champ running to an old Greenback loaded quad followed by a ton of slightly detuned delays with some pitch shifting at the end. Probably not the expected rig for an 8-String. It's factory preset number 335 in the current FW. No EQ was added but I mastered, as always, with Waves L3-16 and nothing else. I monitor and master with a relatively modest Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1 system.

Many thanks and dedications to Adam Goglis, Australis, Ibanez and Rob Keeley.
