If you use this, please post your recording as a video response! My authentic orchestral instrumental karaoke (no voice) rendition of "Confrontation" from Les Miserables. I am a composer and producer who creates music for film and television. I enjoy producing the most realistic sounding renditions of orchestral music. This version of "Confrontation" is incredibly authentic and has an absolutely realistic orchestral sound. Broadway / recording quality.

In the moments after Fantine's death, Javert arrives to arrest Valjean. They have a standoff, where they passionately speak their convictions. The message behind this song is that, at this point, they are unwilling to listen to each other, evidenced by the way they sing overtop of each other. This theme reprises the chords and structure of the opening prologue theme, "Look Down". The vocals begin VERY quickly in this - there are only 4 beats of music (to give pitch reference), and Javert begins to confront Valjean.

Enjoy. This level of realism takes a painstaking amount of time and effort.
