So the back story here:
Back in January, when Eddie's son Alex became hospitalized with a Merca infection, Eddie and Aury went to Tucson, to support him. By the time Aury arrived, he was in the Intensive Care Unit, on a ventilator, in a heavily sedated state. Aury and Alex have a wonderful connection and beautiful relationship with each other, (it was magnificent to witness, as both a parent and a partner) and it was frustrating for her, because he was not ever able to respond directly to her presence and LOVE she brought to him.
After extraordinary efforts to keep him alive, Alex's body continued to deteriorate horribly, and they made the decision, after much turmoil, to withdraw intensive support; he died on January the 9th.
There was no longer an earthly realm for which Alex could communicate with anyone directly anymore.
The line in this song: "Say something, I'm giving up on YOU." now carries a very heartfelt message from our hearts to the boy they Loved so dearly.
I am humbled to watch this, as Aury pours out her SOUL in this song. Aury Moore's rendition of this heart felt song left many at the Fenix Underground in tears....'Say Something'....please feel free to say something of your own experiences...
