DESCRIPTION:
Track 4/11, from [Movements] (Ultimae inre035).

I see Sky Trees as a following to the story we began in Discovering, some time after he crashed on this new planet. After the rescue finally arrived, they started to grow a little human colony while being careful of what they do with the local biosphere ; they learnt from their mistakes on Earth.

After settling down a bit and securing the campsite, it is time to explore this exoplanet and discover what kind of secret it keeps.

After several hours of walk, our protagonists stumble upon gigantic flying piece of rock, covered with a very dense jungle. The closest picture I have in mind are the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar, these huge rocks floating and slowly moving thanks to the planet magnetic currents, tied to each others with thick lianas.

A dream vision, really. Just imagine a mountain passing over your head at the speed and the silence of an iceberg drifting on a calm glacial ocean... A mini-planet on its own, as thousands of living beings live on them, hiding between giant trees and multicoloured plants. You can see the vegetation breathe and move like it wants to stand up and start wandering in the sky.

It's the middle of the day at 3:40 and there are no clouds, but the ground our astronauts walk is flecked with shadows coming from the hundreds of floating islands, the light from the nearby star obscured by the flying islands. You didn't expect to witness something so unique and beautiful, it's outstanding.

Time to climb a bit and look which view you can get at the top of one of those rocks ! It's tough, but the more you climb, the more the horizon gets wider. It looks like even the weather is getting better, to welcome you in the most perfect conditions up there.

At 7:31, the crew finally steps on the top of a moving mountain, and they can have a look to structures more than 75 kilometers away from them. You can see huge lakes in the East, the top of mountain ranges covered with snow far in the North, and you campsite maybe 10 kilometers in the South. The star is close to this exoplanet and blinds you when you try to look to the West side, but it doesn't matter, you already have enough to explore in the next weeks.
