What's a pop superstar to do after they complete a world tour and successfully release their own movie? Invest in Popchips of course! You're watching ClevverMusic. "Part of Me: 3D" star Katy Perry is the new face of Popchips, a healthy chip brand. She will not only appear in ads for the company this fall, but will invest and become a creative partner in the company. It's widely known that other celeb investors are already attached to the Popchips brand, including Ashton Kutcher, and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In a press release Katy said, "I was hooked after my first bite! When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it." And on the Popchips website they posted a blog announcement of the partnership "We are thrilled to announce that Katy Perry, global pop superstar and longtime fan of Popchips, has joined as an investor, ambassador and new face of the brand."

It looks like this "Wide Awake" version of Katy means business. We recently learned Katy is also starting her very own un-named record label. But don't worry Katy isn't all work and no play, she was recently seen at the Fonda Theatre in LA enjoying British band The xx concert! She even tweeted about the show, "I always love seeing one single piece of confetti fall at an indie show."
