Machine were an American dance/pop quintet formed by August Darnell (of Kid Creole fame) in 1977. They were famous for their classic 1979 dance hit, "There But For The Grace Of God Go I". This is the first single from their 2nd album, "Moving On", released in 1980. Although "Is It Love" failed to chart on neither the Billboard Hot 100 nor the Billboard Soul/R&B chart, it did manage to make it to #27 on Billboard's Dance Club Singles chart. Machine released one last single before disbanding, "Power & Reason", which failed to chart.
