Asher Lane is 5 scrappy young Berliners whose love of great songs, strong melodies and rock and roll brought them together in the summer of 2005.
Beautiful Falling, Asher Lane's debut album offers beautiful pop mainstream in the truest
sense of the word. Their first single “New Days“ reached the charts all over the world. “New Days” was also picked to soundtrack the global Nivea marketing campaign and the 60 second TV commercial was broadcast in over 90 countries.
“New Days” also became a massive airplay hit in Portugal, landing the #5 most played single of the year beating even
Coldplay and Madonna followed by a guest appearance in the popular TV shows.
They’ve headlined several festivals in Portugal and the Acores including
“Quiema das fitas de Coimbra” and the new years Show in Albufeira.
The release's second single “Explain” also
made it to the charts and gained major airplay in Portugal.
Asher Lane's sophomore effort Neon Love, recorded in Berlin, sounds like the enigmatic city at night with it's gritty air of mystery and pulsating energy. Neon Love sees the band experimenting with electronic
elements and is more defined and audacious. The songs float between
intelligent pop, haunting alternative rock and beautiful melancholy that hits straight to the heart.
In 3 short years Asher Lane has developed into a charismatic and dynamic live band playing 150+ shows throughout Europe and developing a loyal fan base. With Neon Love in their pocket and the new "Best of" album "New Days", Asher Lane is poised to break onto the international scene.
