Venues:

Archeological Park "La Civitella" (4000 bc) - Chieti:
An unique location in Italy that matches the cultural vocation of the archeological museum with the recreational context of the auditorium and open spaces.
The present museum structure, partially located in underground floors, is part of a compound of gardens, pedestrian areas, an auditorium, an archaeological laboratory, recreational and didactic spaces.

Castello Aragonese (1400 ac) - Ortona
The Aragonese Castle was erected in XV century to defend Ortona in the war against Venice, though it is believed by many scholars that its architect, Giacomo Caldora, had only to strengthen a more ancient fortress, instead of erecting a new one. The basis of the castle is trapezoidal. It is featured by four cylindrical towers. Seriously damaged by the bombardments in 1946 and the following mudslide, today it has been completely restored. From the castle there are stunning views of the sea, the port of Ortona and the old fishermen's borough.

Aurum Musuem - Pescara
Aurum is situated in Pescara on the corner of via D'Avalos and via D'Annunzio, near the Dannunziana Pinewood Nature Reserve, the Adriatico-Cornacchia Stadium, D'Annunzio University, Villaggio Alcyone district and the Adriatic sea. Built up in 1910 as a tourist resort by architect Liberi and named Kursaal, in 1921 it became the factory of the liqueur Aurum, after which it was renamed. In 1939 the Pomilio family, which owned the factory, commissioned architect Giovanni Michelucci to build up an extension of the building. Michelucci designed the opera like it is now: fine union between classical and modern architecture. Today Aurum belongs to Pescara government, and it is a museum of contemporary art. Its inner court, amphitheatre alike, is set of cultural and recreational events. In 2009 Aurum was the operation room of XVI Mediterranean Games Pescara 2009.
