Ever wondered how a Prosthetic Leg is put on? (read description!) - Video

DESCRIPTION:
I really think we can eliminate any fear of disabilities -which often leads to bullying- by being honest and open about the issue.

A big thanks to Össur, an Icelandic company and #OttoBock for making my life so much easier.

I've had different types of systems to put on a leg, and this silicone suction liner from Össur works the best for me. I've had this system for maybe 3-4 years and it's amazing!

Basically, my prosthetic leg has a valve on it and when I step down in to my prosthetics, all the air comes out of my socket and doesn't come back in and the white ring I'm pointing at is like a seal. In one word: suction.
To get it out again, I push a button on the valve so air comes in again.

I make a little dance at the end so the stump goes all the way in and to make sure all the air is out and I'm good to go.
