Pass It On - Official Music Video, Springwood Productions - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 13, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
This song was birthed out of a need for us to share more of one another's real stories. To help carry the load. Then Ferguson happened. And then Freddie Gray happened at home. We wanted to help heal our city using what we have in our hands to give: our music. So we created a project to nominate and honor people in the city who are doing good. We sought to remind Baltimore of the love and generosity already on its streets; even as the clean-up from painful riots was still taking place. We invited the African dancers from Jubilee Arts of Sandtown to join us. These are people sowing art and life into the heart of the very community where our city experienced its loss. Now, as our entire country finds itself needing to listen again to one another's stories and needing to see those who don't look the same as us with true compassion... As our minds and hearts desperately need to know there is still kindness to be found in our streets... We offer this video as a culmination of our Pass It On project, and we pray that the new year brings peace.
