" .. but we fixed them, didn't we? ..", legendary DJ Dennis Erectus states after playing that set of songs where he sandwiched in "Wreck A Record" and wrecked "Shake Your Booty" by KC and the Sunshine Band.. Dennis jocked on legendary KOME Radio 98.5 FM in San Jose, CA. This was from a recurring segment of his show he called "Wreck A Record", where he always wrecked a disco record. KOME played Rock. This portion was recorded by me when I lived in the Bay Area, on January 20, 1979, at about 7:05 PM PST. Last I heard, Dennis Erectus has been slowly recovering, with many complications, from a bad heart attack. May wishes and prayers go out to Dennis for full recovery.
