DESCRIPTION:
Week 37 of a series I'm calling "52 Licks." 1 new jazz phrase each week.

This week features another phrase from a non-drumming source: Charlie Parker's "Confirmation." This lick came up in a discussion with saxophonist Tim Armacost, and how this is a common drum lick that he likes to use. Tim is a BAD dude, and he is incredibly rhythmic and swingin. So much fun to play with as a drummer.
