DESCRIPTION:
Mercury Falls is a brainchild of Oakland-based multi-reedist Patrick Cress and itinerant guitarist Ryan Francesconi, now in Portland. Their debut album came out on Porto Franco Records in 2010, but it wasn't until 2014 that I finally pinned Mercury Falls at their practice studio in Oakland and got some of their music on film. Since recording Quadrangle Roger Riedlbauer and Sam Bevan filled the respective musical shoes of Ryan Francesconi and Eric Perney.
