DESCRIPTION:
Northern Spies is a new band whose members consist of several veterans of popular Rochester bands such as The Demos, Cottage Jefferson and Kopps. With influences that stretch across the '60s pop of The Beatles and The Byrds, to the power pop of such bands like R.E.M., Television and Pavement, the band has created soft-spoken hesitant indie rock with power pop hooks that stay in your head and never leave.
