Anton Pieete returns with a new selection of cuts for Rejected, following up December’s hugely successful ‘Galician’ EP.

The raw, warm analogue sounds continue on his latest quartet as Chicago and Detroit influences are again combined with the now reknowned grooves of the Dutchman. Lead track ‘Teleporter’ eases us in with its delicate and playful keys, bongos and echoing vocal stabs. ‘Chemistry’, while kicking harder, still retains a regal deepness with its pulsing synths and catchy melody only broken but its rasping snares and glistening cymbal rides.

Measured and refined, the EP continues by plunging us deeper still into the sensual delights of ‘Hundreds’. With a dreamy ambient flourish, the track never peaks and teases with its tender drums, that never fully surface. Anton signs off with a mercury raiser in ‘Arizona’. The drowsy bassline matches each beat to craft an addictive and hypnotic groove. A real heater to close yet another impressive EP from Mr. Pieete.
