a bird in a golden cage.

the unknown land of my soul within

A friendly cat showed me the path
that led me deeper inside the grove
I reached a tall and mighty tree
with branches growing up to the sky.

A spring nearby is forming a pool
the water is deep and the water is dark
Small blue flames were dancing at the surface
then they faded and the mirror got clear.

Her eyes looked at me and her face seemed like mine
familiar and strange, young and old the same time
Touching the ancient spirit in me
