Antney

Born on the 31st of January He lists his musical heros as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Ken Boothe, such good taste in music and having grown up in a family where Reggae music was the order of the day Antney has developed into a great vocalist.



Antney also has a deep passion for Dancehall music,old school dj's such as

Papa san to Ninja man to singers like Sanchez,Pinchers,and the late great Garnett silk.Taking the old school reggae rhythms and dropping fresh lyrics and sounds makes a unique combination which Antney simply call's "Reggae Pop"



As a child Antney learnt to play the drums in a childhood band called "Limited Edition" he produced and recorded a lot of the material so is more than a great singer , he has other musical talents. He also writes a lot of his own material.



Having done various radio interviews and shows and being featured in UB40s Come Back Darling and Holly Holy he is farmiliar with the entertainment industry and feels that this is what he wants to spend his life doing, following in his fathers footsteps, making great music to share with the world. With a talent like Antney's it would be a crime not to.



Antney has performed at various venues including Birmingham's Cannon hill park at the lords mayor show where he sang * Lean on me* The Dutch UB40 Fan fest & Aids fund raiser .The fest was organised and run by Jolanda & Yvon in march 2003. Birminghams pubs and clubs and the more recently Holland's Paradox centre

The audience loved him and Antney generously performed at the fund raiser, without fee to help raise money for un aids promoting the work of his father Norman Hassan and the rest of UB40 who tirelessly raise money for the charity.



Currently Antney is working on an album and various musical projects

with the main goal being a record deal.Future shows are in the pipe line

and collaborations with other artists so keep checking back for future updates and songs.



Antney is also working with various sound systems and

is a member of the Aquarious sound movement owned by Dj Benji.

Antney wants to keep reggae alive in the charts and promote his music worldwide.
