Combine uber-rich power chords and bass with lightning-fast drum tricks, catchy vocal melodies, and hooks that keep you up in the middle of the night, and you get the Sacramento, CA based band, Another Single Day.
The hard alternative rock act first enjoyed success with a self-titled demo in late 2003. The 6-song recording rendered the single "Perfect" which found itself in the hands of Marco Collins, music director at KWOD 106.5fm, and gained the band their first major radio airplay.
The band then recorded a self-titled, 5-song EP in 2004, under indie-label Quasitone Records. The disc sold out at shows, and local Dimple Records Outlets, and gained the band attention from venues and promoters around the area. They recorded several more songs in 2005, and it only brought further radio success.
After the band's single, "Blind" was featured by Mark Gilmore on 98 Rock's "Local Licks," another, "Overground," was chosen for inclusion on 98 Rock's "Sacramento Rocks Volume 12" compilation CD, which is distributed to record labels and industry professionals, and is sold in stores throughout the area. The CD features 22 of Sacramento's best bands, and benefits the Mustard Seed School for Homeless Children.

At KWOD 106.5 in Sacramento, they received recognition and airplay with their songs "Perfect" and "Rearranged," and in 2005, the single, "Blind" was put into heavy weekday rotation for several months as one of the featured "Sounds of Sac" songs.

In late 2006 the band picked up a Stammy award for Best Northern California Rock Band, at the 2006 Stammy awards in Stockton.

In January 2007, "The Sound of Secrets" was put into daytime rotation on Alternative station KWOD 106.5.

Articles have been featured on the band in the Sacramento News & Review, The Stockton Lens, The Dixon Tribune, Your Music Magazine, and The West Sacramento Press.
