Anita Coats is proud to have released her self-produced album, The Curse & The Gift on March 13, 2010. A collection of songs that swing from moody to joyous - from in love to heartbroken. With rich vocals, haunting melodies and warm, full production - The Curse & The Gift is for anyone who has ever loved.



Anita grew up in the suburbs of Simi Valley. When she was seventeen a friend taught her three chords. She un-cased her father's Giannini nylon string guitar and used those three chords to write her first song, a love song - and has not been able to stop since.
