Made up of two rappers/song writers and a producer, the name Angha derives from the name of a mythical flying creature which was said to express itself by the spreading of goodwill and kindness. Despite the pronounciation of their name, Angha's music is based on spreading out feel good factors, enjoyable times and experiences of life. Angha originally began as the brainchild of the producer (D Dash) who wanted to make feel good music for people to dance and enjoy themselves to. With a easily noticeable unique sound he joined forces with two rappers (Play & Dvd) who happened to be friends who shared the same interests and goals musically. After releasing their successful debut mixtape 'Little Britain' and capturing a new wave of fans, Angha has quickly gotten to work on their (yet to be titled) debut album due out in late 2010. With collaborations with a host of various UK artists Angha are certain to add to their wide growing reputation in the current urban music scene. D-Dash profile D-dash is what you'd call a new age producer extraordinaire, he meshes great sounds and drums to produce foot tapping and head nodding beats that will grab any listener in an instant. DVD profile DVD (Divine Vocal Dialect) can be described as the father head of the group, with unique smooth and distintive vocals, he is easily noticeable on a track. Coming from a background scene of garage and 2step, his vocals and style easily adapts to different tempo's of productions and music genres. His descriptive unique and on point writing style quickly differentiates DVD from anything that is out there at present.
