This songs brings back such bitter sweet memories. The first time I sang this was at a Christmas show in the 5th grade. It was my first solo in school so I was super excited. My mom always went to my Christmas shows since the third grade. She had no idea that I was doing a solo. I wanted to surprise her. The show was full of all the standard Christmas songs and the children all looked and sounded angelic. The last solo was me, child I did my hair like Charo and moved like a little sex kitten while I sang it. I was so excited to see what my mom thought, she couldn't stop laughing the whole way home.
