The group Tatran was formed in 2011 and since has been creating gripping new instrumental music.
The band is a meeting ground where each of the trio members, coming from diverse backgrounds,
brings forth the full scope of their musical and emotional sensibilities.
Tatran's music could be characterized by a melodic sense of composition,
unique approach to sound, virtuosic playing, and complex meticulous arrangements,
alongside forms that give space for dynamic and boundless improvisation,
with an emphasis on true expression and a deep communication between the musicians.
Since its inception, Tatran played many shows across the country, independently, and within various music festivals,
gaining a large enthusiastic audience and positioning itself as one of the most
promising groups in israel's alternative music scene.
