One Caucasus 2014: Amnesty International in action! - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 17, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Video contains the interview with Rick Roth from Amnesty International USA Group #133 - the legendary local group of human rights defenders.

In December 2001 one of the initiators of One Caucasus, Witek Hebanowski, started with his friends in Warsaw group of Amnesty International (AI) action called Letter Writing Marathon. Next year the action was organized all around the world. That time the only budget for making this action globally - was 200 USD sent as donation of AI USA Group #133. Now the action is more known as "Write for Rights" - organized every December in more than 140 countries and with more than 2 000 000 letters, e-mails, tweets, etc. per year is considered the biggest, bottom-up human rights initiative in the world. It is very good to have Rick Roth, Pam Ikegami and Group #133 co-creating the first One Caucasus now!
