Americana artist, Amanda Richards, spent the winter of 2013 as a caretaker of a spooky rustic lodge just below the Timberline of Mt. Hood. There she discovered an old Electro Voice microphone that she used to capture a beautiful vintage sound on her vocals and guitar on this collection of masterfully reinvented holiday tunes. Bleak Winter is dark and beautiful with a faint hint of holiday cheer.
