DESCRIPTION:
In january 2010, Rich Harding journeyed through the snow to Chepstow for an audition with Also Eden. A week or so later, more snow falling on the snow already lying all around the farm on which he then lived, in the Brecon Beacons, inspired him to record a rough guitar and vocal version of his favourite Christmas song. In late 2010, Ian Hodson and Si Rogers visited Rich in very different circumstances, confined to a bed, with frames on both legs, to record vocals for a free Also Eden download of In The Bleak Midwinter. Jem Bloom and Strafe Sawdoffe asked if they could make a video of the song, using some of Rich's photos and also some from Darren Lovatt, who had previously made a video of his own with photos from around his home in Sweden.
