I first came across the Deceptikonz a few years ago via one fourth of the group in the incredible Mareko. If you have never heard his classic album White Sunday then I suggest you get in the know! The track 'Legacy' is an absolute classic from that album. Peep it below. The other 3 emcees not to be left out are Devolo, Savage and Alphrisk who all deserve respect for holding it down for New Zealand. They have a brand new album dropping July 5th with the same title as this lead single. Evolution is a guitar/string driven single that allow the 4 Maori emcees to rough it up Terror Squad circa Big Pun era style. So hit up iTunes for that and look for a full review when I get my hands on it. Mareko is the emcee on the second verse on Evolution with the great line at the end of the verse with "the only thing moving backwards is my hair line" Check the visuals for the vid!
