Jim has had a varied and distinguished career in the arts including recordings, concerts, theater, film, television, and radio. The recipient of numerous awards, most recently the New Times "Best Songwriter" and "Best Acoustic Performer, Jim has contributed to the soundtracks of several films, including the Grammy nominated, Tom Dowd & the Language of Music, Paris Hiltons Pledge This, and Fatboy, which was nominated at the Sundance Film Festival for Best Use of Music in a Documentary. His 90s band, The Goods, released five albums including the rock opera 5 Steps to Getting Signed, which won Album of the Year at the Florida Jammy Awards. The single Im Not Average from their critically acclaimed album MINT reached number 1 on the R&R charts in Florida and the band as also the subject of a documentary which aired on VH1. As a solo artist, Jim has released three albums thus far winning the Gold Remi in the Music Video category at the 40th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival for the video of Houdini. The concert version of his musical, Fools Paradise, was performed in Miami and New York and a full scale workshop directed & choreographed by Jonathan Cerullo was staged recently for producers and investors. Additionally, he has toured extensively performing at Radio City Music Hall, the Kodak Theater, and the Mirage Hotel, and has taken part in recent tours by such national acts as John Legend and Alicia Keys. Jim's new solo album, Beachfront Defeat, is poised for a summer release
