DESCRIPTION:
"The Froggy Dance" is based on a Yiddish nonsense poem handed down through the generations of women in my mother's family. It used to make me laugh as a child, and I decided to set it to music, and then created a little dance routine with my preschoolers based on it. Portland-based animator Maddie Loftesnes has crafted this wonderful, whimsical, hilarious little animated film set in a circus ring with our friends the frog-bird, the snail-ant, and the dog-cat!
