DESCRIPTION: I feel like I've been lackin' in the ass-blastin' hardcore department, so consider this a re-stock. This is Alienation, a hardcore group comin' outta Halifax. I feel like I've introduced these boys a dozen times over on my channel, and that any project involving Cody Googoo has been thoroughly worshiped here, so I'll just spare y'all the intricacies and say that if you're not already listening to Alienation... well, listen to Alienation. Now, I'm usually not so keen on posting promos, but seeing as these aren't the recordings the group's going to use for their upcoming 7", I figured that it's fine to share as a standalone release. It somewhat of a shame too, because I admire the hell outta this 4-track recording quality. It's real fuzzy and makes it hard to deliberately pick out all the good bits, turning it into some fierce amalgamation of hardcore that bodes well with my earholes. The vocals are reverbed to shite, the feedback is overwhelming at times, the sweet-as-hell basslines only occasionally bleed through, and the music's way too fast to truly appreciate what it has to offer; it's fuckin' perfect. The Alienation is killin' it, and this promo's got me hella stoked for their upcoming 7". I think this is a pretty significant step up for this group and best displays all these boys can bring to the table. Dig'gin.
