Edward Seago - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 29, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
A selection of paintings by EDWARD SEAGO, 1910-1974. All but one of these paintings depict the flat landscape of East Anglia, an English region north of London, comprising Norfolk, Suffolk and the northern part of Essex. Although Seago painted in many areas of Britain (and also in Europe) he is most closely associated with East Anglia. Seago suffered chronic ill health for most of his life and died at the relatively young age of 64.

The music I have chosen to accompany these pictures is the 'Cavatina' from Vaughan Williams' Eighth Symphony, Where possible I tried to match Seago's images to the shifting moods of this beautiful but melancholy music.
