DESCRIPTION:
July 30,1948 – March 21, 2016

After a short battle with cancer, Al left on March 21st 2016.

Al was a huge part of the Barbershop Harmony Society, singing bass in quartets since 1967, and winning a gold Medal with Border Patrol quartet in 2013. His voice and his coaching talent will be greatly missed by barbershop singers around the world.

Al was fortunate enough to attend his own celebration of life on February 6th, when hundreds of people gathered to sing, dance and play music in his honour, and where he was able to sing with 3 of his quartets one last time. Thank you to all of you who have shown your support and for letting Al know how much he was loved.
