The Pinata Hearts is an upbeat piano-driven garage-pop, indie-rock, country-punk band with co-ed vocals. The Twin Cities band perform full on rawk shows as well as sensitive acoustic gigs. The Pinata Hearts is currently recording their first album entitled, Tampa Wadena, to be released this Summer. The album documents Allison and Chris' meeting and relocation from Florida to Minnesota. The group has featured Johnny O on bass and Brian on drums since mid 2008. The Pinata Hearts have performed fun gigs in the Twin Cities at the 400 Bar, Stasiu's, Club Underground, Acadia Cafe, Varsity Theater, Uptown Bar, O'Gara's Garage, NE Music & Movies In The Park '09, Station 4, the Red Sea, Hexagon, Toybox, and Jungle Red. The band has also played the Globe, the Emerald and Pegasus Lounge in Tampa Bay, FL. We've played with a lot of great bands that can be found in our show blogs.
