AGGRO stands for rough, rugged and raw and represents the streets of Berlin. Aggro Berlin is Germanys No.1 independent rap label which came straight from the underground in 2001 when German rap had turned pop; It was time for the independent label Aggro Berlin to step into the game and represent rap from the streets and gansta rap to the fullest! Despite six albums being banned by the German government but still staying very controversial at all times Aggro Berlin turned the German music scene and industry upside down over the years by banging out hits after hits, receiving important music awards and collecting 3 gold albums. Aggro Berlin paved the way for the success of German street and gangsta rap. Aggro Berlin has been in the rap game for five years releasing over 30 chart hits, fighting tough battles against haters including the German government but still staying on top of things and getting mad love from the fans. Currently 5 artists are under the independent label: Sido, B-Tight, Fler, G-Hot and Tony D. Group projects: Deine Lieblingsrapper (Sido & Harris), A.i.d.S. (B-Tight & Sido) . Founders: Halil, Specter and Spaiche. By now AGGRO BERLIN is known by everybody in the industry and they get love from the underground as well as the mainstream fans in Germany. AGGRO BERLINs hit-making ability, first-class beat productions, hot video clips and roster of dope German MCs also has an impact on international hip hop scenes. Even though non-German speaking rap fans dont understand a word they still feel the AGGRO style especially when they watch the dope video clips. Even 50 CENT had to admit that AGGRO BERLINs style is off the hook. During a stay in Germany 50 requested an AGGRO BERLIN video clip at a German MTV show. One of the hottest US rap stars Juelz Santana had to make a track with FLER lately which is going to be released in 2006. US based online platforms like ITunes and Skreem TV already offer AGGRO tracks and clips. The AGGRO BERLIN saga continues and even the German government wont stop them. The governments efforts to try to ban the label and its releases havent succeeded so far because it is AGGRO BERLIN TIME and the label will always stay AGGRO.
