Here's my May 2016 Advanced Beginner Uke class (on video for the first time!). For the last class in our 6-week session, I brought them a lesson in Chord-Melody using Just Like Heaven by The Cure (a tutorial is coming soon, as voted on by the Patrons!) and they rocked it. Advanced Beginner is a mixed level class where I offer different levels of challenges and the students work at the level that they need. For students who are just coming from Beginner class, I start with introducing the concept of using tab while strumming. For the players who have been in Advanced Beginner for a few sessions, I break down the more rhythmic challenges in the melody line.
