DESCRIPTION:
Ad Ombra was a Romanian dark ambient/ modern classical / industrial music project established by George D. Stanciulescu.

The debut album , "Rites of Genesis", was released in january 2008 by Rage in Eden Records, enabling a cinematic and esoteric journey through the whirls of dark symphonic grandeur and anomic descents into the abyss of sounds. In March 2009, the second album, "Magna Charta Illusorum" was released, marking the "descensus ad inferos" of the project, by exploring a darker, more tormented and decadent sound, yet echoed by the angelic hints that foresee the elevation through the dawn of hope. The final album, "Almost Eternity" (2011) has been critically acclaimed as the project's masterpiece, bringing also an indefinite hiatus to its existence.
