Hey guys!

Here's something a little different to the norm! The title pays homage to the awesome Gabe Bondoc (check out his videos), who has previously pioneered the idea of 'One Take Sessions'! I have had very little time to make the normal full cover videos that you're used to seeing from me, and I apologise hugely for that! Hoping to make more videos in the New Year! But for now, here's a little improvisational piece I thought I'd share.

I literally had no idea what was going to happen. I hit record, laid down a rhythm track from some bits and pieces in my head, and then hit record again to lay down a lead track. Both recorded to analogue tape, so the takes are 100% live, and not edited, so please excuse the slips! I thought it was more important to capture a moment and a feeling there and then, rather than to have it technically perfect. Something I'd usually bash myself for doing, but here's a risk I thought I'd take for a change. I have digitised the audio for the purposes of adding it to this video.

I have been listening to a lot of John Mayer and Hendrix lately, so felt inspired to pick up my Strat, and try something different for this video. This is the first video I did that took me several hours from start to finish, as opposed to several days (thanks to production, camera angles, video editing etc.).

Hope you enjoy it, and it would mean the world to me if you would be kind enough to share this with your friends! I cannot thank you enough for your incredible support - without your views and comments, I would have far less incentive to continue making videos. Thank you!

Much love, and God bless,

Adam :)
