Review: Interface 29 | Droid 7 Year Anniversary | Acid Circus | Chris Liebing - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 27, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
The Droid team would like to thank everyone for their continued love and support over the past 7 years. We also deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the closure and ultimate relocation of past Saturday's event.

Our seven years of success have been made possible by both the persistence of the Droid team as well as the public's fidelity to our cause. Both we as organizers and the audience members who attend such events must remember the risks of participating in the underground music movement. To escape the 2am curfews, inhibitions, and overwhelming regulations of Hollywood clubs, we find ourselves off the grid, using unconventional music venues to do what we do until 8am. Unfortunately this activity is frowned upon by authorities. It is by pure luck that many underground events are overlooked by officials including many of our own events over the past seven years. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, fire marshals were notified of our gathering and came to disperse it. By 1am our event had been shut down, and the audience had cleared out of the original venue. Without hesitation a new plan was in place and in a moment of sheer determination, strong support from our community, and concentrated man power, we were able to relocate. By 2:30am Chris Liebing was on deck and delivered a blinding 3 hour techno set as promised. Kid 606 also performed and the Timefog DJs night-capped the 7 Year perfectly.

Thank you to those who helped us keep the Anniversary going your patronage over the years has been greatly appreciated.

NEWS: For those pre-sale ticket holders who did not get to experience the 2nd half of our 7 Year Anniversary, we will be hosting a follow up event in upcoming months where all unclaimed Interface 29 tickets will be honored. Details to be announced soon...
