Tune your guitar down a half step [Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb] and play A Dorian if you want, or play Ab Dorian with standard tuning. Minor pentatonic will work great too, but if you add those other 2 little notes (scale tones 2 and 6), you'll sound 10 times more bad ass!
