Interview with Abigail Hopkins - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 11, 2007
DESCRIPTION:
Mash London March 06 with Rob & Nicole

As representatives for UKmusicsearch we eventually caught up with actress/ folk/rock and singer/songwriter Abigail Hopkins in the capital's Great Portland Street not that far from the fictional character Sherlock Holmes's abode, Baker Street, at times the crew and myself felt a frantic urge to ask Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson or even the bloody author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as to the whereabouts of Abigail.
If you are of a deep thinking thought provoking type of individual you will be gripped and ultimately hooked by her style, her ballads are about everyday people and is not intended to reflect views about herself, she writes and composes her lyrics and melodies on the real world in which she feels is not so rosy and pleasant for every person living in this world.

We eventually tracked Abigail down in a bright multi-coloured futuristic type of bar come restaurant you see scattered around the rather more upmarket dining venues of London.

On greeting Abigail at the MASH rendezvous based on Great Portland Street I felt her approach slightly cautious yet self assured as cotradictionary as that may appear, the apprehension I believe was due like us to "up against the clock" reasons. All was less formal when UKmusicsearch's unique, quirky and bizarre interviewers Rob & Nicole arrived. Abigail felt completely at home with the two young interviewers. From here I shall bow out because at present back at ukmusicsearch Mr Davis and colleagues are editing the interview. SO DON'T MISS IT. The full interview which will be available for watching very shortly
