Son of world famous Tabu Ley Rochereau, Africa’s most prolific international songwriter and inventor of Soukous music style (more than 65million albums sold accounted for), Abel Tabu grew up in a heavy weight musical heritage. From authentic African vibes to Cuban, Caribbean, Latin American Rumba, 80’s Pop and Rhythm and Blues, this musical diversity contributed shaping Abel Tabu’s originally creative musical signature.



Bouncing between Paris and Brussels, Abel Tabu managed to shape his own musical destiny in Dance style over the years, complimentarily with his younger brother Pegguy, whom he is closely working with at Tabu World Studios in Brussels, and who has shaped his in Urban.

Their accumulated little savoir faire has already been awarded at many occasions with gold and platinium, binding privileged relations with major companies and leading independant labels throughout Europe.



Both a dj and a producer, Abel Tabu productions and dj sets may be qualified as warm and tight, or just as hot as great tunes can be when sweet harmonies and rumbling percussions make the thing take off and just flying.
