DESCRIPTION:
Well, here it is, my valedictorian speech from when I graduated from the Academy of Art, University in Fall of 2014. Ceremony actually took place in May 2015, and combined the graduating classes of Fall 2014 and Spring 2015, which totaled around 4000 students. Because of that, they had to divide the commencement up into two undergrad ceremonies - each with their own valedictorian - with one in the morning and one in the afternoon, the later of which is when I spoke.

If you wanna see how someone comes back from almost losing it in the first forty-five seconds of a nine minute speech in front of thousands of people, here you go! All in all, I got rave reviews from faculty (some saying it was the best valedictorian speech they had ever heard at AAU) and especially other students, and even their parents, so I guess it wasn't bad! It's personally hard for me to watch, of course, as I just feel nervous all over again. But, I basically talk about Nirvana the whole time. So there's that.
