A~1 – OUTBURST MUSIC



Born Antonieo Lavelle Robinson June 15, 1990 in Flint, MI, A~1 was the youngest of his family and grew up in a broken home due to the crack epidemic that took over his father’s life when he was just an infant, leaving him to look up to the only other male figure in his household, his brother.



By the time A~1 entered junior high school, he started to find his creativeness in rap, battle rapping at lunch, spitting freestyles on the way home and coming up with punch lines all thru the night for his lunch time battle the next afternoon. During that same time his brother was forming an independent record label “Outburst Music”, but it wasn’t A~1 who was in the spot light, it was his big sister and it wouldn’t be until almost 5 years later before A~1 got his turn at bat. “I was always determined and had the drive, I just had some developing to do” say’s A~1 with a respect and understanding as to why it took so long for him to start recording.



Working with the other artist on the label, he began to find his own unique style of flow and now with over 3 dozen songs recorded, A~1 say’s he feels like it’s finally his turn in the spotlight. His first single “Let my pockets show” has over 200,000 plays on myspace and was in high demand in every club in his hometown and numerous venues through out the Michigan area giving him the opportunity to open up for artist’s such as The Franchize Boyz, Freeway, Jody Breeze, Dolla, Rocko and Twista’ just to name a few. Now with A~1’s recent move to Atlanta, GA, he has teamed up with Grand Hustle’s new artist Yung L.A. for his smash hit single “Cartier Frames”.
