Tobias Rene “The King of New Mexico Music”



In 2004, Bill Richardson, the Governor of the state of New Mexico declared Tobias Rene the official “King of New Mexico Music”. Since his debut as a solo artist in 1999, Tobias Rene has sold nearly 100,000 records of his popular Spanish music. Tobias has dominated Spanish music radio airwaves in his home state of New Mexico, Colorado, and many parts of the Southwest. With his highly energetic live performances and powerful Tobias Rene band, he has headlined and sold out almost every major venue in New Mexico, Colorado, and other regions of the southwest. He is a favorite among casino entertainment and is one of the most sought after acts currently touring the southwest. Tobias has also headlined major shows and venues in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, San Antonio, New York City, and in Louisiana to name a few.



In 2005 Tobias was discovered by the country music industry in Nashville and signed to an independent label where he released his first full English language cross over CD. Tobias is predicted to become the next big Latin crossover act into the world of country music.
