The EC-401 is loaded with an EMG 81 pickup in the bridge position and an EMG 60 pickup at the neck location, together these are the ultimate active pick-up combination for out and out rock tones. The sleek, bound 3 piece Mahogany set neck with Rosewood fret board on a bound Mahogany body provides outstanding resonance and sustain.

The 24.75 inch scale makes this instrument comfortable to play and the upper frets are easily reached thanks to the cut-away body design. The fret board has eye-catching flag inlays whilst Grover machine heads ensure stable, accurate tuning across the note range.
