Gibeth

Gibeth has a sensational voice that is complimented by pure beauty. The latest star to emerge from West Texas, Gibeth was born and raised in San Angelo. Her passion for music began in her childhood when her parents video taped her singing for the first time. Gibeth’s first presentation before a live audience would come at the age of fifteen during her birthday celebration. The audience was blown away by her amazing voice and stage presence. At that moment Gibeth knew that she was destined to sing and perform. She began to write her own songs and landed her first major performance in May of 2001 at Pikes Park in Dallas, Texas. She has since performed in Los Angeles and throughout West Texas. Most of her performances occur in Mexico where she is constantly requested to sing at weddings, 15 Cineras, and private parties.



Gibeths songs range from fun and exciting cumbias, to thoughtful and romantic ballads. A role model and hero to many Hispanic children inGibeths community, and throughout the areas where she performs in Mexico, Gibeth enjoys creating songs that make children and their families happy. Her shows are events that everyone can enjoy.Gibeth loves being a positive example for the youth and often reminds them to never give up on their dreams.



Gibeth’s debut CD, LA CUMBIA DEL GANSITO, is expected to be released in 2006. Gibeth is also featured on the song, SENORITA/SENOR, from Country Cool urban recording artist Sean Rasuls debut album, THE SHOWCASE. Gibeth’s wonderful voice, beauty, and stage presence often draws comparison to the legendary Selena, who is Gibeths major inspiration. Gibeth appreciates the comparison but is determined to make a name for herself and be seen for the true light that she displays.a light that is already beginning to shine brightly.
