Off-Center staged reading of the politically-relevant show stars Santino Fontana as the titular character, the son of a senator who has decided to give away his wealth. Skylar Astin plays a duplicitous lawyer determined to prove Rosewater insane so that he himself can come into control of the fortune. The cast includes James Earl Jones, Brynn O’Malley, Rebecca Naomi Jones and more. Michael Mayer directs. Performances run through July 30 at New York City Center.
