Neal Casal has worked with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals and the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, but he also boasts a prolific solo career, having released his first solo album in 1995.

When Casal stopped into the Guild Lounge with guest Lauren Barth, he highlighted his latest solo effort, a record titled "Sweeten the Distance," with the song "Need Shelter."
